The Vatican Observatory Foundation seeks to produce a new documentary video to answer the most common question each of us at the Foundation have gotten: "Why does the Vatican have an Observatory?" This project serves as a follow-up to a previous JTF grant that funded a 12-minute overview video, which is now somewhat outdated in both content and context. This time, rather than simply replacing the footage, we seek to capture high-quality media that will not only serve as an engaging introductory video, but can be parsed to create evergreen social media content for our Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram pages.
Additionally, we aim to make several improvements to our website to bring it up-to-date and ensure its continued functionality. A revitalized website will allow us to showcase the new content alongside additional resources such as extended interviews and educational material. In short, our website must be a strong foundation on which the rest of our content sits.
