How did we come to exist? What are the laws and regularities that govern the Universe? Why is mathematics so central to its workings? Are infinities ‘realized’ within its structure? What role do we play as observers in cosmology and quantum mechanics?

We invite proposals that seek new and imaginative ways to advance the foundations and frontiers of mathematics and the physical sciences to inform responses to Big Questions like these. High risk projects that promise substantial rewards are especially encouraged as are projects unlikely to be supported by standard funding agencies.
