Jennifer Templeton Simpson is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in English literature and a Master’s degree from Columbia University in social work with a concentration on international social welfare policy. After working for several years as a social work therapist, school social worker, and program officer for after-school programs, Mrs. Simpson returned to school for a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in environmental studies with a certificate in land preservation while working as an environmental education instructor.
She currently owns and operates Forge Hill Farm, a CSA with a mission to serve as a vocational resource for young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Simpson is on the board of the Westtown School where her children attend and is also on the board of the Chester County Food Bank. Mrs. Simpson serves on the Boston University Advisory Board as well as the advisory board to the Boston University College of Arts and Sciences.
Mrs. Simpson is a Trustee of the John Templeton Foundation and the Templeton World Charity Foundation and a former Steering Committee member for Templeton Religion Trust. She is also a member of the Board of First Trust Bank Limited. Mrs. Simpson is grateful to serve on other Templeton-related committees, including as co-chair of the Member Committee and as a member of the Family Engagement Task Force.
