Valerie K. Martin

Valerie Martin is responsible for the financial operations of the Foundation. She represents the Foundation as a board and committee member of both the Foundation Financial Officers Group and the Delaware Valley Grantmakers, and as a member of the Council of Foundations.

Ms. Martin received her degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. She worked for a decade with a regional public accounting firm in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre area and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Martin served for four years as a Senior Accountant, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of associated limited partnerships for the Housing Authority of the County of Chester.
