Daniel Austin Green

Senior Program Officer, Freedom and Free Enterprise

Daniel Austin Green works with applicants and grantees in the areas of free competition, entrepreneurship, free markets, and the enhancement of individual freedom, including religious freedom and other individual liberties. Before joining the Foundation, he was Resident Scholar and then Fellow at Liberty Fund, Inc., where he worked with their educational conference program on topics including philosophy, history, economics, law, political theory, religion, and the arts.

Green received his B.S. in economics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, his M.A. in economics from The New School for Social Research, his M.Litt. in divinity from the University of St Andrews, and his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University. He is a licensed attorney in Indiana, a Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee, and a member of the Mont Pelerin Society. A tenor, Green also studied vocal performance at The Juilliard School, with Joyce McLean. His publications on topics concerning corporate governance and intellectual property law and theory have appeared in the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law, Gonzaga Law Review, Chapman Law Review, and Texas Wesleyan Law Review.
