Pamela Thompson manages the Foundation’s work with designers, writers, and public relations professionals. She oversees the production of publications and collateral materials, works with journalists in their coverage of the Foundation's activities, and arranges publicity and logistics for events, conferences, and award presentations.
Before joining the Foundation, Thompson taught statistics at the University of Louisville, where she earned her B.A. in psychology. She received her master’s degree in social psychology from the University of Dayton. She worked previously for the Fund for the Arts in Louisville, where she also owned two award-winning public relations and advertising agencies.
