The Foundational Questions Institute (FQXi)
FQXi catalyzes, supports, and disseminates research on questions at the foundations of physics and cosmology, particularly new frontiers and innovative ideas that are integral to a deep understanding of reality but that are unlikely to be supported by conventional funding sources.
In the centuries since Galileo revolutionized human thought by insisting that physical phenomena be observed systematically and described mathematically, physics and cosmology have formed the bedrock of our understanding of the physical world. FQXi aims to support the new paradigm-shifting discoveries that may now be occurring in these fields.
