This grant supports the creation of a genome sequencing validation protocol and related bioinformatics tools necessary to confirm the accuracy and completeness of 100 whole genome sequences submitted by teams competing for the Archon X PRIZE for Genomics (AGXP). By accelerating the development of rapid, accurate, and affordable human genome sequencing technology, the AGXP will pave the way for a new era of personalized medicine by facilitating the widespread adoption of whole-genome sequencing.
