Description

This multi-faceted project investigates the problem of evil, particularly natural evil, and theodicy. The project utilizes conferences, competitive fellowships, publication prizes and other means to advance new thought on the topic while commemorating the early work of Gottfried Leibniz and his seminal work Theodicy. Focus themes include exploring the resources of Leibniz and other Enlightenment thinkers on theodicy and the potential of 'skeptical theism' to address this issue.
