This grant provided support for the production of a two-hour television/film project that documents the groundbreaking global work of the renowned Peruvian economist Hernando de Soto and his Institute for Liberty and Democracy. Hosted by de Soto, the film presents the difficult realities of daily life for the world's poor and shows how capitalism can improve conditions in the developing world. The film aims to change the mindset of millions of viewers about the nature and definition of capitalism.
