Description

This project supported an extensive public opinion survey and demographic analysis of religion in sub-Saharan Africa. The survey focused on three major topics: religious background, beliefs, and behavior; views on inter-religious relations and relationships; and how religious belief shapes basic social, economic, and political values. This study will increase the public's understanding of religion's critically important role in shaping public life on the African continent in the 21st century.
