Description

On the occasion of Cambridge University's 800th anniversary, this grant supports the production of a drama based on the life and writings of Sir Isaac Newton. Using verbatim historical sources, the production explores Newton's science as well as his religious and alchemical interests. The production strives to demonstrate the intimate link between science and faith in the life of one of the most influential scientists who ever lived. A portion of this grant supports tours of the play in the United Kingdom and the United States and production of a DVD for distribution.
