Description

This project seeks to advance the social scientific study of religion in China and in the Chinese diaspora. The grant supports research about spiritual capital in China through an open RFP competition, provides research training to Chinese scholars, and builds upon the momentum created by the Beijing Summit on Chinese Spirituality and Society in October 2008 at Peking University (grant # 13447). A volume of research findings will be published annually.
