Following the results of the 2005 Baylor Religion Survey, this grant supported in-depth interviews on the religious beliefs and values of 100 Americans from different races, genders, religious affiliations, and educational levels. The interview findings were published in America’s Four Gods: What We Say About God – And What That Says About Us (Oxford University Press, 2010). A web resource was also developed at the Association of Religion Data Archives for the public to explore the four images of God and to share their theological perspectives.
