This widely publicized public event was held at MIT on November 30, 2006 and includesd a lecture on Alan Turing's contributions to artificial intelligence (Jack Copeland) and a debate over human mind/machine distinctions (Ray Kurzweil and David Gelernter). The event was in conjunction with the Humble Approach Initiative on "Creativity: Minds, Machines, and Mathematics."
The Foundation welcomes proposals that aim to link our Core Themes with the scientific methods or scholarly perspectives of Computer Science.
