The Foundation seeks to catalyze interdisciplinary research on the following "big questions": How do concepts of God evolve? What are the mechanisms and cultural forces that shape conceptualizations of God? Do scientific discoveries necessitate new concepts of God?

Templeton Advanced Research Program [TARP]: Innovative Scientific Studies on Religion and Spirituality

This program aims to advance the quality and sophistication of research design and methods in the study of three distinct topical areas:
- Religion, Spirituality, Healing and Health Outcomes;
- Religion, Spirituality, and Human Flourishing; and
- Competitive Dynamics and Cultural Evolution of Religions and God Concepts.
A total of six grants will be awarded through a competitive request for proposal [RFP] process.

- This grant selects and awards annual prizes to the 12 best post-doctoral young scholars globally on the basis of their doctoral dissertations related to the topic of God and spirituality. An international and inter-religious panel of 25 judges evaluates the prize nominations. While primarily a theological prize, contributions from all academic disciplines and religious traditions are considered.

from Dutch to English. Does God Matter?: An Interpretation of
Whitehead's Philosophy as a Contribution to a Theology of God's Agency was
accepted for publication by Peeters Publishers as part of the series Studies
in Philosophical Theology.
