Cogito.org: Connecting Young Thinkers Around the World
The Community for Academically Talented Youth
Cogito is Latin for "I think," an appropriate name for a site for young thinkers to congregate and explore. It is also part of one of the most famous statements in intellectual history, René Descartes' assertion "Cogito ergo sum," "I think, therefore I am."
Supported by a three-year $1.7 million grant from the Foundation, Cogito.org features news stories of interest to young scientists, searchable directories of programs and activities of specific interest to minds geared toward math and science. It also offers interviews with professionals and guest experts from a range of disciplines, including: nanotechnologists, physicists, bioethicists and climate experts.
